Marivida Designs pieces are created to be worn and enjoyed — not tucked away. We choose durable, water-resistant materials so your jewellery can move with you through everyday life.

That said, no jewellery is indestructible. A little care goes a long way in keeping your pieces looking beautiful for years to come.

Made to Be Worn

Our jewellery is crafted using stainless steel, PVD-coated finishes, glass beads, gemstones, and freshwater pearls. These materials are chosen for their strength, longevity, and suitability for daily wear.

You can comfortably wear your pieces:

• Day to day.
• In warm weather.
• Around water and coastal environments.

They are designed for real life — beach days, city days, and everything in between.

A Gentle Reminder

While our pieces are durable, they are not indestructible. Repeated exposure to harsh conditions can shorten the life of any jewellery.

We recommend avoiding:

• Prolonged exposure to chlorinated pools or hot tubs.
• Direct contact with perfumes, sunscreen, and chemicals.
• Rough handling or impact against hard surfaces.

After Ocean or Water Wear

If your jewellery has been worn in the ocean or exposed to saltwater:

• Rinse gently with fresh water.
• Pat dry with a soft cloth.
• Allow to air dry fully before storing.

Caring for Pearls & Natural Materials

Freshwater pearls and natural gemstones are organic materials and benefit from a little extra care.

For best longevity:

• Put jewellery on after applying skincare or fragrance.
• Avoid storing pearls against harder materials.
• Store pieces dry and away from direct sunlight.
• Pearls are meant to be worn — natural skin oils can help maintain their soft lustre.
